Buffalo Creek is owned and operated by Russell Hobbs. Russell raced from 1974-1980 at Lake Whitney, Mosier Valley, Stemmons MX, Oak Hill, Pecan Valley, and Lucky Landing. Before going to college he advanced to the 125 intermediate class. Fortunately, Russell’s dad loved to travel around, so they experienced all the north Texas tracks back in the day. Seeing the Europeans come over on the Trans AMA Series, and racing different tracks all over North Texas, instilled a love of motocross in Russell. Now he puts all the money he can get his hands on into providing a great practice and training facility.  Through Buffalo Creek,  Russell and his team produce  a cool night series every summer, manage the AMA Statewide Series and the Easy Money Pro AM in the fall with a $10,000 pro purse.
